State High School Coaching Education Requirements
Working in conjunction with the NFHS, over 24 state high school associations developed, adopted and implemented coach education requirements for high school coaches. Through meetings and presentations to departments of educations, school boards, athletic director and coaches associations we were able to convince these groups of the need for basic coaching education for high school coaches.

NCACE President
In 2007 Mr. McCann was elected the President of the National Council for Coaching Education. His tenure saw the accreditation of the two largest coaching education programs in the country (NFHS and ASEP) and the development of accreditation protocols for on-line coaches education programs and courses. As a member of the USA Coaching Coalition he also organized and hosted the National Coach Educators Conference in Park City, Utah.
